Logo design - EYCA

EYCA = European Youth Card Association
Design:
This is a transformation of the current logo by retaining its original color scheme and the Hercules symbol. This treatment can ensure smooth transition of the logo change without losing much of its original recognition value. The Hercules symbol now looks younger and more energetic. His foot is putting forward and in fact stepping out of the pink “box” that symbolizes freedom and mobility. The pink “box” is no longer rectangular but in irregular shape to intensify the impression of energy and versatility of the young generation. The stars are retained to subtly refer to EU or Europe in general. The text EYCA is bold and in lower case which is highly eligible and good fitting with the curviness of the new logo.

UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage emblem design competition (Mar 08, United Nations)
To sing, to dance, to create, to perform or to celebrate, human body represents our intangible cultural heritage. The emblem includes the representation of hand, foot and mouth for safeguard our living heritage.
Remark: 其實只是很隨意的畫了幾筆. 不過又覺得和主題幾相配所以決定用它了.

Logo design – SHIFT

SHIFT logo design competition (Mar 08, Japan)
About SHIFT: A Japanese online magazine which translates international information to Japan and Japanese information to overseas, mainly featuring world creative cultures such as art, design, fashion, music, and multimedia. (www.shift.jp.org)
Concept: Establishing an association of SHIFT with a stylized keyboard SHIFT key on our computer that most frequently touched by designers and general computer users.
Remark: 嘗試運用現在很流行的反光效果. 原來都不是太難做到.

Logo design – GovWiFi

以輕鬆活潑的色彩與字體傳達可於各大小政府場地上網的便利與愉快體驗. wifi背後有一線串連代表流暢無間斷. “i”上的電波圖案代表無線wifi服務. 另free字可提醒市民此wifi服務為免費便民措施.
Remark: 遞交作品後才驚訝發現政府本身有一個類似的LOGO. 外型跟意念也有不少相似. 算吧! 最重要始終是設計過程中的滿足感. 其他也是其次.

Logo design - 長者安居服務協會

長者安居服務協會 : 創, 耆想標誌創作比賽 (hk, dec 07)
設計意念：以四個U型 (代表手指) 指向中間圓點 (代表平安鐘), 喻意協會以一線通平安鐘服務作為平台, 為長者服務. 另外四條直線把圖案分為四等份則代表多元性及全面的服務範圍. 整個標誌外型像一個太陽代表更豐盛美滿的長者生活.
